Spread over an area of 7800 sq. ft., this luxe residence at Hyde Park, Pune is a by-product of an in-depth thought process by the team at Talati and Partners. The clients were driven towards luxury with minimalism, they sought a sublime decor with a touch of modernism. While the backdrop mutes extravagance, the bespoke elements speak out loud. With a free hand offered to the design team, the main goal was to exude elegance disguised in sublime aesthetics.

The designers adopted linearity to create seamless spaces. With every aspect having a perfect linear alignment, the interior nurture a sense of balance and uniformity. The streamlined aesthetics make the areas more expansive, adding depth to them. The core concept in terms of styling was kept subtle, allowing the client’s desire for the furnishings to shine through.

The dynamic glass partitions with its intricate details through a film coating is custom-designed by the team at Talati and Partners. The dining space along with the flavorful cuisines holds an essence of eclecticism.

The galaxy-themed kids’ bedroom makes the interior dreamy and fun for the kids to have their own space with a distinctive character. A feature light that won the Red Dot Design Award in 2017 adds a sense of abstraction in the space. This light then became the base concept for exploring design styles with it, where astronomical elements and daring hues became a part of the palette.

The pooja room exudes luxury with its choice of material palette and colour scheme. Even the linear lines of the ceiling and wall panels follow a sense of uniformity with an eye for detail. This clever design trick highlights the harmony in design. The accent elements of the home aren’t confined to one space. Rather they flow to impart a cohesive look. In relevance to it, the intricate jalis and the railings for the staircase follow a similar design for continual flow.

To let it take the center stage, muted tones of browns form a part of the minimal flooring, elegant upholstery, and sombre lighting by Luce plan to create a hook. The rest of the abode has a kids’ bedroom, dining space, kitchen, entertainment zone, pooja, and a guest bedroom. The main door opens a gate into the world of luxury and charm. This grand lobby further leads you to an entertainment room with interactive seating. Filled with intricate art, books, and sublime materials this space invites fun times and conversations.

As one follows the linearity, they land up in the elegant living room. A Brazilian quartz stone spread across the entire linear space acts as the highlight feature of the design. Finished with a Bianco Trani this feature is state-of-art addition to elevate the design language. There is a sense of continuity maintained in the decor to avoid its deviation from the sleek lines. Every line begins from the ground and extends to the ceiling. The ethereal lights from Galoti and Radice exude eccentricity amidst a subtle backdrop. Seamless floor-to-ceiling cut curtains enhance the continuity of the double-height space. These curtains magnificently fall from a height of 24 feet, all the way from the top. The charming rotary-cut Bolivar Veneer was particularly procured for the project.

The artwork, carefully handpicked by the team from a multitude of sources, adds grace to the luxury interiors.
